Question

How accurate is the OPK?

I know that not everything 100% accurate. It puzzles me on how I tested positive on the OPK 3-4 after my period ended and I also tested positive on actual ovulation date according to the ovulation calculator.
I asked my Dr but she is as puzzled as I am. Any insights would be nice and greatly appreciated. Thanks, Oh yeah I am trying like most

OPKs measure LH. There can be more than 1 LH surge prior to ovulation. Therefore, it is possible to get more than 1 positive OPK result. For that reason I like to chart my temperatures to see whether and when ovulation occurred. All the best.
