Question

7 days of blazing positive opks?!?

I started opk testing on cycle day 8 using clear blue advanced digital and Target brand opk. I got a flashing smiley on cb and a positive on the other. The next day i got my solid smiley on cb and strong positive on the other. I do know the difference between a positive and a neg on an ovulation test. Today is cycle day 17 and the test lines are still darker than the control. What does this mean??? I have tested morning, noon and night. They are ALL the same. Test darker than control. I have a very regular 27 day cycle. I do not chart bbt bc my body temp stays at about 99.5-100.0 always. Please any advice will help. I have googled till I am blue in the face and all I can find is ppl saying the test has to be darker than control. I know this and believe me they are way dark. This is my 6 month trying to conceive second child.

Ovulation is supposed to happen 12-36 hours after the first positive opk test. This is when your body releases a surge of LH to kick ovulation into gear. I get positives for 3-4 days so I try to go by checking which is darker, checking cm, and I always get ovary pain. I used to chart bbt but since I am working night shifts, I wake up at all different hours in the day and there is no point.

If you no longer have fertile cm then you are probably on 9-1dpo.
