TTC while breastfeeding??

I'm still breast feeding #1 and went off birth control in June. I've cut his feedings way back and today 8/16 had bleeding I was wondering if anyone knows what the first bleeding is called when you breastfeed? We're trying to conceive #2 and this blood is coming about a week after I ovulated but it seems like a lot to be considered 'spotting.' I have read mix reviews on that as well though...TIA!
