Is it possible to miscarry a day after missed period?

So my cycles work like clockwork, very predictable of when my preperiod spotting starts and when my period starts. Thursday is the day I start my preperiod spotting, normal this week, but it's been more of a light brown and very light than normal. Usually it's bright red mixed with cm, then fled on like a period Sunday. It was very light and light brown in color Thursday through yesterday (Sunday) so aka, no period and no usual cramps. This morning, I woke up and BAM! Went pee and saw clots in the toilet with cramps and bright red. Its still a very odd period, but is it possible to have a miscarriage or a chemical?

This is not normal for me
