What are the odds of a bfp this cycle?
We just went through our 1st month of TTC with our infertility specialist. I have been on thyroid medication from the beginning as it wasn't high but it needed to be in the lower half for pregnancy (so they tell me). Now, it is a prefect number-so that's great. Then, I took the Clomid, 2 injections and ovulated successfully that was confirmed by an ultrasound. I am 7dpo in the 'waiting stage'. My blood work came back today with slightly lower progesterone. 15 and they say 20 is where I should be. I have started supplements today.
My question is: Because of this low progesterone, what are my chances of still getting pregnant this cycle? Is there a chance still?
The only symptom that I have are my breasts/nipples are in extreme pain. lol Maybe fatigue but can't tell if it's the meds I've been on.

I forgot-the other symptoms that still remain after ovulation are mild cramping and gas. I know it's too early to tell but I really am freaking out that we lost our chance this month wit the low progesterone.
I'd appreciate any experience on this topic...please and thank you :)

To be perfectly honest, it can take a long time for doctors to get it right when you've been diagnosed with infertility - no matter what your specific diagnosis is (male factor, PCOS, unexplained, etc.). It's incredibly rare to see a fertility specialist for one month and then BAM! pregnant. But to answer your question, if you are in fact that lucky and you are pregnant, the progesterone supplements would help sort out your hormone deficiency. I wouldn't worry that you "lost your chance" - your hormone levels aren't that far off from what's considered normal. Patience, my dear. Easier said than done, but I speak from experience.

Thanks for the response, Marooncat01. I have a 7yr old son but through the years since and birth control, I do not get my period nor ovulate... Trust me, we've been trying for two years now and I have had my fair share of emotions and sadness-I don't get my hopes up anymore. But after researching low progesterone, I keep reading "miscarriage" so naturally I started freaking out. hahaha Thank you so much for your input-I did just need some reassurance to any chance I may have had. :)
