It is hard to know if any or all of this could just be from breastfeeding, especially without knowing how how much you breastfeed, or how long you have been getting your cycles while breastfeeding. After my first cycle while breastfeeding, I had a lot of pregnancy symptoms and was convinced I was pregnant at first, but eventually they went away and it ended up just being a long cycle. From what I've read, cycles can be all over the place while breastfeeding, and in my case at least, it seems to be pretty directly related to how frequently my son nurses.
If your period is due soon, I would wait a few days and test if it does not show up. I hope you get whatever outcome you desire!

This would be my 3rd cycle. My son nurses every hour an a half for at least 30 minutes or less.

Nursing that frequently and being only your third cycle, I would not expect it to be too terribly reliable or predictable, but all of our bodies are different, so who knows! Good luck to you! :)

Sorry, but I can't answer the part about the spotting, as it is something that hasn't occurred in my cycle before, during, or after pregnancy. :/ I hope you get some answers soon, though. I know the wait can be awful.
