Implantation bleeding is said to be either pink or brown, never properly red, and not lasting for more than one or two days the most, so I'd say it's not implantation bleeding. (Even if it was, it would mean a very late implantation, which is never a good sign, as studies have dound that most late implantation fails within six weeks).

i know a fair few people who have had implantation bleeding for longer than 2 days, my mum also had period like bleeding for the first few months of pregnancy, i do ovulate later than i should. i wouldnt say it was properly red it was very dark but not quiet brown. untill the next day. god our bodies can be so confusing sometimes, thank u for the reply x

Yes, it's quite common to bleed in the first part of the pregnancy, often called breakthrough bleeding or hormonal bleeding. That's not the same as implantation bleeding though. What you describe sounds more like that than an implantation bleeding. Good luck.

On my 16th dpo (my best calculation is that I ovulated early) I started with tiny scant amounts of light pink discharge when I wipe. It's very little and very light. My period was due yesterday. No period has come and my boobs are atill so sensitive. Not big and swollen like my pms, just super tender. Idk what to think. Could I be pregnant or just off on the schedule?

mrsbernardini : Difficult to say, have you tested today? It could very well be a hormonal bleeding, as they often appeare close to expected AF, but it could of course also be that AF is just messing with you. Fingers crossed it's a hormonal bleeding and you'll get a BFP very soon!

Thank you OldBidddie! I haven't tested because I keep thinking AF will come. But she was due Sunday. I am pretty regular but you never know. I want to wait until I am about a week late to test. That sound ok? I am trying to pinch my pennies right now and don't want to spend the $ just to see a negative.
