Ovulation Tests and Ovulating- Is This Normal?

I took an ovulation test 2 days ago, it was positive, I also had cramping on one side, headache, and other "period-like" symptoms that same day so I was pretty confident I was ovulating. I continued to take the ovulation tests- just because I was curious, and am still getting very clear positives that show up very quickly. I also had some mild period like cramping today which is throwing me off completely. Is this normal? How many days will I continue to get positive results? I thought for sure it would have been negative by today just based on feeling like I was ovulating 2 days ago and that I had a positive 2 days ago. Is it normal to feel cramping twice in one cycle? This usually doesn't happen to me. Any info would be greatly appreciated!!
