blood HPT

its probs a silly question but how much blood do you need for a HPT coz surely your need just as much as you do wee so it soaks up enough to test which seems like alot ?

You dont use HPTs for blood tests. You sound like you're using a HPT to test your blood. You go to the doctor, they draw blood, and then it goes to a laboratory to be tested.

nooo im not using HPT as blood test i saw on the pregnancy test gallery some people had used blood and iwas thinking they must of needed a lot of blood to soak up the dip bit of the test . my question was just out of curiosity not for me to try it :)

They just use a drop or two then add a cpl drops of water or urine to help the blood flow through the test. Its not very accurate so just keep that part in mind if u do decide to do it. Most of us have done it so u wouldnt be an oddball if u did lol. I have a pic up of mine from about a yr ago...it was positive but I hadnt ovulated yet so it was nothing more than false hope. I didnt do it to actually test tho, more to prove a point of its inaccuracy.
