Question

Possible very faint BFB...

I am 10 dpo and just took an ANSWER hpt...I have never tried to test this early so I am not sure what a very faint line would look like. I would not be surprised if my eyes were playing tricks on me, but I swear I see a line, only instead of it a possible pink tint to it, it looks to be like more of a whiter color than the background of the strip.

There's no way a picture will show it, I can barely see it. I wish I would have looked closer at the test before I used it. Would I be able to open one and wait til tomorrow to use it?

I am only really concerned with knowing sooner than later if I did get pregnant because of the fact I take birth control. I know I have less chance, but I really screwed my schedule up on top of falling prgnancy in January, with little no late pills.

I take my pill before I go to bed, do u think I should maybe take another test then?

Does my "fainting description" sound similar to anyone that has had one? Later was it in fact or BFP? Or w

The white line is the antibody strip - it's not noticeable in the test before you use it, but once you get the test wet it's often more noticeable (especially if you're looking very closely and/or under bright light). If the line stays white when you do the test that means there's no hcg to react to the antibody strip. That's why the line has to have color to be a positive. And no, you can't open the test today and use it tomorrow, its likely to make the test invalid. As for taking bcp, there's nothing in bcp that would harm a baby if you are pregnant so you can continue taking them like normal until/unless pregnancy is confirmed with no risk.

that's crazy im on bc also although I don't take them on a regular basis 24/7 I missed 2 pills this past month so im worried about being pregnant although we were going to try next month so it doesn't matter ive had a lot of ppl tell me to stop my pills until I know if im pregnant. I don't get it if it doesn't harm the baby why should I stop if there is no confirmation of pregnancy
