Stabbing Pains, sharp, 8 dpo

I am currently 27, ttc#1 on month #3. Just this cycle I started using the Clearblue Ovulation with the smiley face. I got a smiley on. Wednesday and BD the Monday before, and then that Wed, Thurs, and Fri. I assume according to the package inset that I ovulated that Thursday. So today I would be 8 dpo and other than mild sore boobs I hadn't really had any symptoms...until this morning on my way to work. I started getting sharp little stabs, like someone was poking my lower abdomen area with a stick. The pain isn't really bad, but very annoying. I have been feeling this about once every 10 seconds or so since 6 am and it is now after 3pm. I don't know what this is, but definitely am tired of getting my hopes up (I am such a pessimist, lol). I haven't had any implanation blood. So my main question would be...what are these poking stabbing pains and if you have experienced them did you get a bfp?
