Hmm that's weird, have you sought second opinion?

Not yet. The doc scheduled me in for Wed of next wk (2 wks after his diagnosis) to make sure everything 'passed ok' I considered going to the ER a couple towns over for some reason none of this seems right... But I don't want to get myself hopeful. My symptoms had actually nearly stopped around my appt. But for about 4 days they are back full force plus extras I didn't have before. My husband doesn't want me to get my hopes up either so we are trying to wait it out I guess. I just figured since I was told I would m/c my brain and my body would get in sync like it did last time and bleeding would start. I've been trying to google how long after your told would bleeding occur. But seems everyone has had d/c or started bleeding before they even knew they were going to m/c. I haven't had any bleeding nor cramping.

It has never happened to me personally, but it did to a friend. She didn't miscarry until what would have been 14 weeks. She had the same thing as you, sac but no fetus. She had symptoms up until the very end, but eventually did pass everything on her own & successfully conceived two months later.

The same thing happened to me but I was only five weeks at my ultrasound and mc'd at 6 weeks. They told me they saw a sac but no fetal pole and no heart beat. Although five weeks can be on the early side to see anything for some. But sure enough I started cramping and bleeding a week later. Not to get your hopes up but maybe just wait and see and hopefully your doctor might see something different at your appointment next week. Miracles do happen! :)

that happened to me with my 3rd baby. i went back 2 wks and there was my baby with a heartbeat. so that time they were wrong. happened again after that pregnancy and i miscarried over the next 2 days of being told. if you do decide to go in for any reasons for a dnc plz have them double check that the status is still the same before preforming anything on u.

I spotted for two weeks before I found out I had miscarried. I could tell by looking at the u/s myself, as soon as the picture came up. I waited a few days with no change, I tried cytotec, I t helped to pass the baby, but I still bled pretty good for a few days, they did a manual vacuum and aspiration, I still bled. I ended up going in for a d and c. timeframe from when I found out to my d and c was February 25 and march 31. I think it is a good idea to wait a couple weeks. To make sure they don't see anything positive before you do anything. I am sorry you have to go through this.

I called some places today to try to get a second opinion and everyone was so rude... I tried to explain to them that I had went in for an ultrasound at my doc office and had been told that I needed a d/c but I wanted a second opinion before I commit and nobody would make me an appt!! They were so ..... gggrrrr the one lady said so I don't understand what you want you have a doctor... I mean come on! Over a wk since my appt still no bleeding no cramping... Have some new nausea but that could probably be about anything.. So I guess I sit and wait until my next appt with the doc that I don't think even cares and is annoyed by the fact I wouldn't let him do a d/c. The appt he made was to make sure 'everything passed ok...' I cross my fingers and hope he was dead wrong I would love nothing more... He could very well be correct! I never claimed he isn't what is wrong with being sure?? I don't get it...

Ack! Sorry everyone! I very much appreciate your replies!! I'm so frustrated today. OMG 14 wks?? That is so long! I don't think I can wait that long... I hope hope it doesn't take that long if its going to happen! I assumed it would have been the same as my last but I guess all pregnancies aren't the same.
I'm sorry for you ladies losses as well :(
