Question

BBT Has been lower than normal since ovulation. Is that bad, or a sign of something?

I've only been off the pill since April 2nd. My first ovulation was in June, and this month, I think it came on cycle day 11. Pre ovulation my temp ranged between 97.6-98.1, dropped to 97.2, and spiked again to 98.2, but has been under 97.5 for the past 3 days. That's not the same pattern I've seen in the past 3 months since starting to chart and I am concerned. The temp is supposed to be higher, especially if you conceive, right?

There are three reasons (that I can think of) why a temp would drop in the luteal phase. Implantation dip, I've read about it, usually only dips for one day. Getting near to starting period. My temps start dipping as I get to the last few days before my period. Or possibly just random things like having your mouth open while sleeping or testing earlier than normal, etc. Random things like this affect my temps all the time. If it's not a trend then just ignore the random noise.
