About 9 weeks u can hear a heart beat.

Typically this cannot be heard with even a Doppler until the 9-10th week of pregnancy at the earliest, sometimes not until the 12-14th weeks of pregnancy.

You can generally see the hb on a vaginal ultrasound at 6 wks or so, though most drs will not try to look for it until 7+ wks.

As for hearing it, they will normally start using the Doppler on you around 12 wks or so. You can usually hear it on a vaginal ultrasound before then though - I know I was able to hear the hb on a vaginal u/s at 5 wks 6 days with baby #1 and 8 wks 3 days with baby #2 (they didn't ultrasound me before then).

I seen my babys heartbeat at 6 weeks 2 days. Havent got to hear it yet because its still to early im only 8 weeks right now.
