Advice to all you ladies

This is advice to all you ladies, I know its hard especially in the two week wait but don't worry so much about whether your pregnant or not. Its going to happen all on its own. During my two week wait I tried to keep my mind busy and didn't worry so much and it worked for me. I only got 3 symptoms and yesterday went to the hospital and found out I'm 3 weeks pregnant with my first. Also another tip I can give is don't try so hard when your trying to get pregnant, it will happen when you least expect it

Congratulations on your pregnancy. Great news! I like your advice in general. Unfortunately, I find myself struggling with medicated cycles, injections, ultrasounds, and appointments with my doctor every other day. It is hard to not focus on it when you are forced to try so hard. For some of us there is no other way, especially when trying to conceive at a more mature age. Thanks for your advice though. I am sure it will be helpful to many.

How come your forced to try? I've never heard of someone being forced to so I'm just curious.

I doubt that she means she is being forced TO try. It sounds more like she is forced to try HARDER that your average ttc couple. From what she said she's of mature age there for ttc is harder and has to be helped along by added fertility boosters. Hence "forced to try harder" statement she made

TruckersWife clarified correctly. My point is: Women TTC in their late 30s and 40s very often have to put forth some incredible efforts in order to have a chance to conceive. It will not happen on its own for many who are in that age range.

Not to mention those of us who have to pay for said procedures out of our own pockets......you're darn right I worry whether am pregnant or not because it might mean another 2 or 3 thousand dollars next cycle!
