Am I imagining my symptoms????

So my implantation bleeding started last Friday. It lasted 5 days....I was supposed get my period Saturday
and I am NEVER early. The bleeding was very light and my period is always heavy. I have been nautious and have terrible heartburn. But I tested this afternoon and it still is negative. My Dr told me Monday it might just be too soon yet. Wouldn't it show up by now???? Please help!!!!!!
