It is possible to ovulate that early. I have ovulated twice in the past few months on CDs 8 or 9. I know this because I am charting temperatures and ultrasounds confirmed this also. Because of these experiences I am sure to pay particular attention to any fertile mucus early on. I tend to ovulate 1-2 days after I see fertile mucus. I am sure this is different for everybody. I highly recommend BBT charting to you. Doing so you will help you confirm if and when you ovulated. I use OPKs also, but only as backup. Cycles in which ovulation occurs earlier than CD 7 or so tend to be not fertile. The maturing egg most likely did not get enough exposure to FSH to mature properly. Hope this helps.

Absolutely! When did you start your period? On average women ovulate 14 days BEFORE the start of their next period (13-15 days before is considered normal). If you have a 25 day cycle this means you can most likely expect to ovulate between 9 and 11 days after your period STARTS putting your fertile window around day 7-12 (day 1 is the first day of your period flow).

For me, I get EWCM the day before and the day of Ovulation, but this can vary from woman to woman.
