how to pinpoint ovulation after the trigger shot?
hi everyone!
My boyfriend and I have been ttc for a year now. This cycle my ob gyn put me on 50 mg Clomid 5-9. I had a scan on cd 11 which showed 4 good-sized follicles (about 18 mm). Had the trigger shot yesterday morning (cd 12) and have bd twice since. I also chart, but I've noticed that with clomid my temps were a bit higher than usual, so I'm not really relying on them to tell me whether I've ovulated or not...
Anyway, I guess my question is, have any of you ladies had similar experiences? if so, did you manage to pinpoint when you ovulated? did you have a clear rise in your bbt?

memberHave been on Letrozole/Femara (similar to clomid) for several months. Temps. start rising for me on the third day after the shot.....I am sure it is different for everybody. It seems to me that the rise is somewhat "delayed" while on medicated cycles with trigger shot....I don't know why this is though... Ovulation after the trigger shot occurs for me within 12-24 hours, a bit earlier than the 24-36 hour window expected with "Ovidrel". I know this bec. of my mucus signs. I have adjusted my bd/IUI schedule accordingly. Hope this helps.

I'll wait and see what happens to my bbt the next few days. I started having mild (ovulation?) cramps a few hours ago, so maybe that's a sign too. I guess this cycle will be about discovering how my body reacts to clomid + hCG, so I'll try not to read too much into things. Easier said than done, of course...
