Antibodies
Due to being A NEg Blood type i have been found to have antibodies in my blood. They suggest it could be due to the Anti-D injection i had in March due to a m/c, so obviously ill be monitored closely incase my levels are rising or decreasing. Has anyone been in this same situation?

In the Uterus:
If your baby seems to be anaemic a fetal blood sample can be taken,if this conferms anaemia,he can be givena blood transfusion. This procedure may need to be repeated until he is developed enough for delivery.
After the Birth:
Treatment depends on the severity of your baby's jaundice and anaemia. In mild cases of jaundice, bilirubin levels may respond to light therapy(phototherapy). In more severe cases, an exchange blood transfusion me be necessary.
