Is an hcg level of 305 on 17 dpo promising?

I have been ttc for a year now. In that time I had a mc at 9-10 weeks, a blighted ovum, and 3 chemical pregnancies so needless to say I am a little bit nervous this time and really am hoping for a sticky bean and some positive input.

Whats important is not the first number but a pattern of doubling numbers. Its hard to make a true judgment from one number :)

My doctor refuses to do another hcg until two weeks down the road...dont understand his reasoning and makes for an awful long two week wait...again lol
