Question

Ttc after stopping breastfeeding and finding it difficult

Hi everyone I stopped breastfeeding my son on 25 th of January and pretty sure my first ovulation was in march as this was detected with my fertility monitor and I felt painful ovulation pains. However in April I had a 28 day cycle but missed sticks on fertility monitor and never saw a peak... This month my period was very light not even a pad was really needed?? And now on what I thought was cycle day 12 I have light pink blood when bleeding .. What on earth is going on? I feel like I will never get pregnant again especially as I'm not sure if or when I'm ovulating and it's really getting me down :( I did start taking agnus castus this month but think may stop as could this be the reason for such messed up cycles? I was taking it to bring on ovulation. Thanks

Sometimes it takes a while for hormones to get into balance after breastfeeding. I have 4 children and it really did take about 6 months for my cycles to be normal again after I stopped bf. I recommend charting temperatures in addition to OPKs. Then you can confirm whether and when you are ovulating. Best wishes.

Vitex (agnus castus) can mess up cycles that are regular. You take it to GET your cycles regular. I have been using a product called La Sra Muller to get back on track.....will see if it works.
