Possibly but not necessarily. There are so many other factors that can affect the darkness of a test. You might find it gets lighter again before you get your positive. It also very much depends on the tests. I had one batch that only ever showed me a second line a day or two before ovulation. I have had others that showed me a line every single day, and it got darker before ovulation.

I have used so many of those strips this O cycle mine did get darker and I ovulated way earlier then I thought, but I could never get a super dark line, so I just went by the darkest I got. I can see why ladies are using the strips so far into their cycles, its so hard to know for sure. Good luck
