The last three brands of opks I used all differed in how you read them so I'm just checking your instructions are that the line has to be darker.
Could you possibly be on an irregular cycle meaning you haven't got as far as ovulation yet?

I have read threads where the hormones surged only for 24hrs meaning the ladies had to test twice a day but this is uncommon.

Sorry it's not much help but all I can suggest is look into other people's experience with this particular brand.
Good luck to you x

When and how many times a day are you testing? Most women surge around 8-10ish in the morning, so the best time to test is late afternoon/early evening. I generally test 2 or 3 times a day when I'm getting close (either based on the date or CM). For example, I tested with FMU and SMU yesterday and got negatives, but then tested around 7pm last night and got a positive. My test this morning was still strong and clear, so I wouldn't have missed it if I was only testing once a day ... this month, anyway.

Also, surges can happen really quickly. You can be going along with LH levels hanging out happily around 5 or so for days and days, and then all of the sudden *BAM* 25. They don't have to build up gradually - although they can do that as well.

I would keep testing if I was you. Have you had any signs that you have already ovulated?

Good luck!

Im testing twice daily around 1-2 pm and 6-7 pm i usually get sore bbs after o and then that stops till the week leading up to af ,i had sore bbs on cd 17 and 18.
The tests i bought didnt come with instructions as i got them in a bulk lot off ebay, might try a different brand next cycle as this has me rather confused :/
I was told not to test with fmu :/ so it dosent matter if i do? Still learning to use opks i thought it would make it easier but im even more confused now lol.

Some tests say not to test with FMU, but most are fine with it. I think the worry is that FMU is very concentrated, so possibly could give a false positive - but I've never found that to be the case and I find FMU super duper convenient and reliable. But you could always use SMU or get up and pee in the middle of the night so FMU is less concentrated if you were worried about it and still give yourself some coverage for the morning hours.

Ok i think ill try that tomorrow morning i think ill keep testing until af just to be safe, who knows the line may get darker :) this is my first month try opks as we found out last month that hubby has low count and low motility so i thought it best to know exactly when i was ovulating rather than guessing!
