I have a retroverted uterus and PCOS. The PCOS was my biggest obstacle. You can't get pregnant if you don't ovulate! I have read that using different positions will help you conceive, but I did it the old fashioned way for #1 and had no problems. My RE said I could try different positions but in his experience it doesn't make a difference. Hope this helps!!

I have a severely retroverted and twisted uterus (and, therefore, a severely twisted cervix). My doctor assured me that it had no bearing on fertility whatsoever and that position didn't make a bit of difference either. He said the force of ejaculation splashes the semen against the cervix and the speedy little sperm immediately swim out of the semen into the CM and from there make their way through the cervix, no matter how twisty it is. Hi there! I have a retroverted uterus... my providers have a hard time locating my cervix it is so far out of place but I have 5 beautiful biological children and had two other unsuccessful pregnancies. In my experience I would say hopefully your doc is right!! Good luck! Currently trying for our 8th child all together! :-)
