Try not to let the previous MC make you worry, what your doctors is saying it true. I had spotting/bleeding during my pregnancy and no one was very concerned. Best to relax. You can go back to your doctor or ER if the bleeding picks up, just keep an eye on it.

My miscarriage started with spotting but that went on for weeks before I actually miscarried. I found out I have an ectropic cervix (which is very common during pregnancy) which caused the bleeding. I also say don't panic! If you are going to miscarry there is nothing you can do, and having seen the baby okay today just relax and know it is okay. Worrying won't help. Easier said than done, I know! One thing I learned on one of my many (unnecessary I now know) visits to the hospital was that though there has been no scientific research done into it, it had been noticed that women who have bleeding in early pregnancy are more likely to miscarry if they have sex. So next time I get pregnant (hopefully there will be one) We will be trying not to have sex during the first trimester!
