Question

When do I TEST??

my lmp was on 6/27, cycles are usually 28-35 days long. longest was 40 days which ended in chemical pregnancy. this cycle has been a little difficult for me because it's now CD43 (3DPO) and i still have no obvious sign of AF. granted, my bbt and cm shows O at cd 39-40 so my question is when exactly should i test? Should i continue to wait for AF which should be at 11DPO or should i go ahead and test? DB is trying convince me to wait until 8/15 (10DPO) for a "sure" positive. Will it already be positive or is it still too early to tell?

If you are only 3dpo, it will not be a positive hpt. The soonest implantation could occur is 5dpo [normally 6-12 dpo] and even after implantation you may need 2-3days or a week before your hcg levels rise high enough to register a positive on a hpt. So you have at least a week- I usually wait until 14 dpo to take hpt - the longer you wait the better. Otherwise you are just second guessing the results. Good luck and Baby Dust!
