Look up what the HCG is on the tests youre taking IF you took 2 different brand tests. Cuz if you did, then that could be why. All tests measure at a different level of HCG. First response and others you only need a 25 HCG level. Others are 50, 75, etc. Another thing, your HCG levels are different at different times of the day. 12 DPO is still early also. If I were you I would wait 2-3 more days then test again cuz it takes 48-72 hours for your HCG levels to double. I got my first BFP at 12 DPO also but it was soooo faint you could barely see it. So I tested every day at the same exact time (morning) with the same exact brand test and every day it go darker and darker. But Barelyyyy darker. It was only noticably darker between the day 1 test and the day 3 or 4 test. Not day by day. Also, I didnt get a super dark line on a test til i was like 10 weeks prego. I had an extra test and I took it just to see how dark it'd be but already knew i was prego lol hope this hellped! GOOD LUCK!! :)

Horrible feeling isn't it. I get strong evap lines with pink dye and they have a hint of pink too. Do u have any pics? Could be evap lines or dare I say chemical pregnancy? I tested at 10dpo got a very positive line and now im so scared it will be chemical. Best to wait till you miss your period to save all the stress and worry.

They were from the same batch. I took a digital clear blue before (I know I'm suppose to wait until morning urine but I am so confused) anyway it said not pregnant aswell! I don't think it was an evap line as it came up strait away! And it's very clear I don't need to hold it close or to the light to see it.
Maybe it is chemical. I had that period is coming type feeling just before so who knows.
So frustrating!
