They survive minutes in air, hours in the vagina (its too acidic in there), and days in the uterus and fallopian tubes. If ur referring to the tubes then approximately 3-5 days, altho a max of 7-8 have been recorded...def not the norm tho.

so if I had sex at the peek of my ovulation is there still a chance of getting pregnant?? or am I out this cycle like I already feel I am?

Oh yeah there's def still a chance. Its always better to have them up there waiting for the egg, but even bd'ing the day the egg comes out can still get u pregnant. Sometimes we release a second egg within 24hrs after the first, this is why its important to continue bd'ing after suspected ovulation. It will only be within that 24hr period tho, not days or wks later.
Ur not out tho, dont think like that. R u tracking with temps and opk's/cm or just going by online calendars/calculators?
