Question

Am I crazy for TTC so shortly after late M/C ??? (Sensitive Topic)

So on 2/23 I lost my little girl at 19 weeks due to an undiagnosed BV infection that I had no symptoms of, This was my 1st pregnancy.. I spent two days in premature labor and lost her naturally and never got to see her which has made trying to grieve very hard. Coping with the loss has been difficult as I was at the stage to feel her move and know she could hear me sing to her & such. I immediately set my mind to planning a new pregnancy as soon as my cycle returns & passes (Doc said wait a cycle) , I've read that some women cope best this way...but I feel a little crazy as it's all I can think about as I've felt so empty since the loss. Has anyone else suffered such a late loss and been so desperate to get pregnant again as soon as possible???

I'm sorry for your loss, That's how I feel as well. While they are irreplaceable, I feel like getting pregnant again will just make the loss easier for me to handle.

I am so sorry for your loss I cant even imagine the emotional pain you've gone through. just remember your not replacing your little girl, she will never be forgotten. I was devastated after miscarrying at just 8 weeks after trying for 2 years but I and fell pregnant 4 weeks later now have a healthy 3 year old girl and Ill never stop wandering what baby number 1 would have looked like, what kind of personality they would have had. When its not meant to be, its not meant to be. Good luck to your both trying again xx

So sorry for your loss. I can't speak from personal experience, but all I can say is as long as your doctor has given you the green light from a medical perspective, you are the best judge of when you are ready emotionally to try again. Good luck to you!

I'm sorry about your loss.we are in the same boat.l miscarried on the 12/02.I was 5weeks.l was devasted coz it was only 4days after celebrating my Bfp.l concieved after 3 months of trying hard.I was advised to wait for at least 1 cycle but coz I wasn't preventing nor trying am not sure.l feel ready though.Getting preg asap will helP in coping about the loss.but they usualy want you to wait a for your cycle to ensure your uterus goes back to shape and also to make dating easier.Keeping fingers crossed for you and please let me know if you got your period yet.
