Strange period

Has anyone else had this if so what was the outcome .... my period eas a day late then it started heavy but only lasted a day and half, then nothing for 2 days then it started again heavy but only lasted 1 hour then nothing ... I have a sore back and tender abdomen I havnt been stressed or anything, I had a positive ovulation on the 11th and bfn on pregnancy test day before af was due ... im confused and emotional eith whats happening as iv been trying to conceive nearly 2 years so this has screwed this month.
