Congratulations!
That decision is 110% ur choice, there is no right or wrong answer. With my first, I told my Mom (Dad passed) the day I found out and the inlaws around 12wks (we're not close so I wasnt in a rush lol). This time around, I told a few close friends the day I found out (Mom passed) and the inlaws at about 9wks...only becuz they were here and we didnt want to wait til 12wks and provoke another visit lmao! True story!! ;))

Do what u think is best for u and ur family situation. Some women like to have the support system available should something go wrong, others would prefer not to have to explain over and over and deal with all the questions and daily reminders. U gotta figure out which girl u are! Best of luck and congrats again! =))

This is a very personal choice. But here is what I did...

My husband knew first... about 2 seconds after I had a positive test! I told my sister basically the day I got a positive test because I wanted her support... and we are really really close.

The rest of my family I had them wait until I was 12 weeks after my scan. Just because I had to untell once and it was really hard. Probably harder than telling if they didn't know as I had to tell them right away rather than on my own terms.

I told work at 18 weeks. Although I was SOOO super sick that many people guessed it.

Friends fell between 10 weeks (my best friend) and the end of my pregnancy.. I decided to do it as I saw people rather than via email or text message. At the end, it was very funny to have some friends look at me and realize there was a major change since the last time they saw me! And no one was upset about not knowing...

Good Luck x

Honestly I wouldn't tell until about 12 weeks or longer bc that is the most dangerous time in a pregnancy and you never know my fiancé had gotten his ex pregnant and they told everyone right away everyone got excited and than boom she lost it so the longer you wait and know for sure your not going to miscarry the better just my opinion but you can do whatever you wish good luck

First of CONGRATS!!!

I agree that it is completely your choice! Your body, your pregnancy, your baby! With my first one, I called my mom right after I told DH and I was already 9 1/2-10 weeks along at that point and then the in-laws later on that week because they were already thinking I was anyways. With my second one, none of my in-laws were very excited or happy about it because my older one was only 6 months old at the time and I got pregnant on BC pill. So I told my family around 6 weeks and his family around 10 weeks. Most people wait until around 12-14 weeks. I don't, but I might when we find out with this next one.

We told our closest friends right away @ like 6 weeks! Then at almost 8 weeks we found out it was a blighted Ovum.. I was VERY thankful for the support I got from them and was glad I told them even though we lost it. There are pros and cons for telling early just like there are for telling later - Good Luck :)

I told everyone in the family that night, and fb just yesterday! When you try for so long you just can't hold it in sometimes.

I regret sharing my last pregnancy at 8 weeks, since we found out at 10 weeks that the baby had died around 6w3d. I don't plan on sharing until well after 15wks, but the recommended is at least 12 weeks. I'd wait bare minimum until your 10 wk scan. Hearing people congratulate you and ask when your bump is coming in while you're bleeding and going through emotional trauma is more than hard to handle.
