Bbt charting, do you base your o day on the chart or how you felt?
Ok here's my story, TTC #3, just diagnosed with PCOS. First round Clomid CD 2-6. My OPK turned positive on Friday. Even before taking the test I knew it would be. Very heavy and painful in my ovaries all day. Saturday positive OPK earlier in day but negative at night. Now my BBT says I wouldn't o til Saturday but wasn't feeling it then. Temp got messed up on Saturday because due to my hubby's schedule I had to wake up in middle of night to bd therefore did not have time to temp at normal time. Do I go by my chart or when I feel like I o'd? Right now in going by my body as OPK was positive.

When OPK's show up positive, it means it detects high levels of LH. Your LH surges a day or so prior to actual ovulation, so you probably did O on Saturday and felt the LH surge and its effects on Friday. You could have O'd Friday night/Saturday morning. Just keep in mind OPK's only detect the LH surge. We need to remember that the LH surges to its peak 12-24 hours before actual ovulation. Some people catch the surge on its way up, but the highest levels (peak) will be, as said before, 12-24 hours prior to O.
Hope this helps x
