This happened to me with my last pregnancy. When I went back 2 weeks later there was a baby with a heartbeat. I was just a bit earlier than I should have been according to my dates. Are they having you come back soon? It's torture not knowing :( hope all turns out well

When I had a blighted ovum, I was seven weeks and there was no yolk sac. Nothing developed except for an enlarging gestational sac -- which was starting to looked mishapened. My levels were high, but were not doubling normally. I tell you this because a yolk sac is a GOOD sign and as long as your hcg levels are increasing within a normal range, chances are good if you go back next week you'll see bubs! I bet your O date is off or iimplantation happened later. I know you're terrified and I've been there, but you have a lot of good signs on your side -- I did not -- I have a good feeling sweetie. I hope you see your baby and heart beat when you go back.my last pregnancy ended in miscarriage at 9 weeks. At 8 weeks I had a sono a saw baby but no HB- a week later when I went for another sono no change I miscarried 4 days later. You may just be off on your dates and that's why they didn't see baby our hb. Don't stress think positive I know its hard but its best for both of you. Baby dust for your sticky bean.
