I also am in the middle of MC a chemical PG this month. So sorry for your loss. I was to my Obgyn about mine yesterday, and in my case, he doesn't feel its necessary to wait. However, since this is my 4th miscarriage (plus a tubal) since March...he has put me on progesterone and baby aspirin.

Have you seen your doc about it? Have you had more than one of these?

Everyone's circumstances are different, though. I have to retest in a week to make sure the PG test is a BFN. Sometimes incomplete MC's do occur and in that case a D & C needs to be done.

If you are having recurrent MCs at any length (4 wks, 6 wks, etc), I would definitely talk to your doc before TTC again, though.

Thank you maudie1979. This is my first chemical my last pregnancy was fine and I have a healthy 2 yr old daughter. The pregnancy before my daughter ended in miscarriage at 10 weeks along. I'm hoping its not a hormonal thing.....just my body doing its job. I started bleeding on Saturday and I took another preg test yesterday which was negative so all traces of the pregnancy are gone now....This time I was only about 5 or so weeks along.

My doctor always told me trying again was the most healing way to recover. She said the advice to 'wait a month' was more due to dating then anything else.

Thank you canadianmama. I don't know what happened but I do know I ovulated about four days sooner then normal so maybe my uterine lining wasn't ready.....I don't know.
