Question

Ovulated from both sides. Possible ectopic and normal pregnancy at the same time!!! Help!!'

I had my hcgs done last week every 48 hrs, they was 157, 387 and 950. Progesterone was 133.
Went for an early scan today and they said I ovulated from both sides and my pregnancy is measuring right on time but there is some free fluid in my pouch of douglas, this can indicate an eptopic pregnancy. They think I might be having a normal and eptopic pregnancy at the same time!!!
Anyone got advice or opinions to share.....

Sounds possible! Sucks if you do. Did they tell you the next steps? An ectopic is an emergency... If they saw a pregnancy on your tubes they should have removed it right away. Cab you contrive the normal one after having the ectopic removed?

I had an ectopic in march and when I got pregnant again in september i was 100 percent convinced it was ectopic again. It felt exactly the same. My hcg wasn't doubling quickly in the beginning, from 103 to 192 in 41 hours, and the ultrasounds showed a lot of free fluid in my pelvis. Turns out everything was fine, the fluid went away and the pains went away and I am 9 weeks pregnant now with a healthy baby.

so yes, it is not impossible that you might also have an ectopic, but do not panic! Try to assume the best!
