I'd get it confirmed first with a blood test at your doctor, then schedule your appt. I just made mine and I have to wait 2 1/2 wks before they will see me. So the sooner the better :)

I don't have a regular OBGYN. Should I find one for the blood test?

Congratulations!!

Most doctors don't confirm with blood tests if you don't have a history of problems. If this is your first pregnancy and you don't have any issues, more than likely whichever doctor you choose will have you come in around 8-10 weeks for your first appointment. Congrats!!
