Question

Serophene and PMS symptoms

I took Serophene 50mg CD 5-9, O'd cd 14. I am now 12 dpo and feeling intense PMS symptoms that I don't usually have. Strong cramping, backache, twinges on my left side, extreme fatigue, insatiable hunger and achy hips. This has been going on since 8 dpo. AF isn't due for another 3 days and I don't normally PMS this earl or long. Neg HPT this morning. Basically I am wondering if the Serophene enhanced and extended my PMS symptoms? Everything just seems so out of whack! Anyone else go through this?

Oh yeah serophene will definitely do that. One of the hormones it affects is progesterone. My levels go through the roof. Makes me think I must be pregnant when I am not. Progesterone peaks at about 7dpo hence you would have started feeling the effects after that.

Well I definitely had enhanced symptoms this cycle! They had me fooled and I'm officially out this month. It'll be tough next cycle not to read into them as much!
