Lh is produced during waking hours. It doesn't build up in your system overnight like hcg does. The best time to test for lh is between 2-6 pm cuz that's when it should be the highest for the day. But make sure u do test at least twice a day, spaced out about 12 hours to make sure u don't miss ur surge.

U always have LH in ur system at varying levels. A lot of the time u will get a positive or almost positive test in the middle and end of ur luteal phase. Ur best bet would be to use a pregnancy test to test for pregnancy, and stick with opks for ovulation. Too many women get their hearts broken by using opk's for what they arent intended. Good luck! Ur not out yet.

I missed the part about being 10 dpo. Sorry, I was half asleep. Lol.
Anyway, what Dakota said is right...u always have lh in your system and some women get very close to positive opks during the luteal phase. Opks do not work as hpts. Hpts will pick up hcg before an opk will. Good luck!
