Type 1 no but type 2 yes! My dh became one 3 yrs ago and before that i got preg very fast . Now it seems like ages. Today af supposed to be here and nothing. Maybe a bfp soon? So i think it just might take longer. The doc told us high blood sugar can impact sperm count. Gl!

Yeah its taking awhile for us too. Just a few months shy of 2 years. He became a diabetic when we were dating, we are trying for our first. AF came for me a few days ago :( Hopefully AF wont come for you and you get a nice surprise instead. I have been doing some reading and read that high blood glucose can contribute to DNA damage which can lead to things like infertility and early miscarriages, so yeah... Im going to have to help him keep his levels down so he can produce some good swimmmers. Thanks for your answer.

Ty and heres to you missing your AF next cycle (cross fingers)! Yw and also expect to possibly have a big baby. My doctor also said pregnant moms with diabetes are not the only ones who contribute to the baby weight. Diabetic dads can too.
