Anybody successful trying to conceive with a diabetic (type 1) husband or partner?
My husband and I have been trying to conceive since feb 2012. Just curious if anyone out there in TTC land has a type one diabetic hubby, he also has hashimoto's thyroid disorder (many times Autoimmune diseases come in pairs)... If anyone has a similar situation did it just take longer for you guys to become pregnant?

Yeah its taking awhile for us too. Just a few months shy of 2 years. He became a diabetic when we were dating, we are trying for our first. AF came for me a few days ago :( Hopefully AF wont come for you and you get a nice surprise instead. I have been doing some reading and read that high blood glucose can contribute to DNA damage which can lead to things like infertility and early miscarriages, so yeah... Im going to have to help him keep his levels down so he can produce some good swimmmers. Thanks for your answer.
