Question

Ovulation day?

This may be a dumb question, but do I count the day I get a positive ovulation test as the day I ovulated? Or does the positive test let you know that you're about to ovulate?

A positive ovulation test is an LH Surge which means your body is letting off the hormone that triggers the release of the ovum in the next 24 hours from getting the positive ovulation test

Not a dumb question at all. An opk will give a warning of anywhere from 12-48+ hrs for O. Its only a warning tho, u dont necessarily release an egg becuz the test went positive. Unless ur charting temps, getting ultrasounds or having progesterone blood tests, theres no way to confirm if u in fact ovulated. If ur not doing any of those things, then assume u ovulated 36hrs after the first positive, thats about avg. Keep bding for a few days after in case u actually O closer to the 48-72hr mark.
