oh yeah...depending on the dosage of the trigger, the hcg is most likely still not out of your body, and therefore, you're testing positive, but all you're getting is the trigger shot, not the actual pregnancy. Here's my advise: DON'T TEST UNTIL IT'S TIME!!! I had a trigger shot this cycle too, tested, and now, am going nuts trying to figure out if that faint line is a positive, or if it's just a trigger...even though I'm on 10-11 dpo, and have 2 more days till the blood test!!! Crazy. I wish I did not test, so I wouldn't have to go through this madness now. Either way, good luck to you! :)

Too early. I'm testing out my trigger this month and am 8 dptrigger and still seeing it. I've read a good rule of thumb is 1 day for every 1000 units of HCG. Most common dose is 10000 units, so ten days for it to get out of your system. But each women is a little different, so if you don't test it out you may be left wondering.

I was just wondering the same thing. I see you posted 5 days ago...any update? I'm at 10 dpo and 11 dpHCG and really want to test tomorrow! My RN said wait until cycle day 37 which I think is WAY off and insane. I think maybe she said that because my cycle is normally 33-35 days, BUT this cycle because of the trigger shot I ovulated at day 17 and my luteal phase is usually 12 days.
