Hi ladies am six weeks going for my first ultra sound what should i expect??

I also had a ultrasound at 6 weeks, which was a trans-vaginal one - the name pretty much explains it.
Most clinics will use these if you are having an early scan. Its not uncomfortable or at all discomforting. Just feels (TMI) like a lady toy, nothing different to that really.
On my ultrasound they found the baby straight away. We could see everything - Yolk Sac, Separate parts of the baby and most important its little heart beat flickering away. They check everything including your womb, outer womb, ovaries, fallopian tubes, etc.
They will just make sure everything is there for the baby and measure the CRL, which was 3.2mm for us at just under 6 weeks - but all babies develop at different rates.
