I am a lifer on lovenox. I have aps and mthfr that caused a pe and multiple mc. I take 80mg twice daily, and let me tell you it's not even close to fun. Because it's a anticoagulant it leaves black bruises anywhere from quarter to Palm sized and have tender knots. The typical injection sites are abdomen below the navel, or buttocks. So very quickly wearing anything with a fitted waist becomes painful, along with sitting. I've also had to have plasma transfusions because of becoming over coagulated. You will also need to be diligent with your diet and need to speak with your dr about how much vitamin k is safe in your diet or prenatal vitamins. Be sure to medical jewelry in case there ever is an emergency. I don't mean to scare you be these injections are serious business, and my opinion would be that I wouldn't start them until it was necessary. Oh and they burn like fire for about 10 mins. I'm very concerned myself about how I'm going to handle it while pregnant. Good luck.
