How do I get through the next few days without being institutionalized?
When the delicate (but effective for over six years!) birth-control method my husband and I use failed on my ovulation day, I have to admit I immediately believed we would conceive. I didn't think too much about it though, but began have CRAZY symptoms (nausea, vivid dreams, strong sense of smell, exhaustion and a tiny spotting episode) around 5 dpo lasting to 8 dpo. I'm at 11 dpo and the past few days have been relatively symptomless. Oddly, though, I'm not getting AF symptoms, either, and I normally would be. I haven't yelled at anyone or had a sleepless night (happens every month), and my acne didn't flair like it does pre-AF. Only indication of AF is a bit of weepiness.
Anyhow, how you ladies do this every month is beyond me. I feel like a crazy person. Every day is a miraculous opportunity to continue pretending I'm pregnant, and at the same time a horrifying chance for the whole charade to end. I didn't really have a question, I just needed to share. <3 Best of luck!

I'm trying to figure out how you could have your BC fail on your O day and how did you know it was your O day if you weren't trying. Sorry I'm a little confused as most women trying to have a baby can't narrow down their ovulation day. I would say your probably not. every women trying still only has a 20% chance of conceiving each month.
