Sorry for your loss. I waited a week before I took a hpt and got a bfn. I just felt so wrong after the excitement of our bfp all those weeks earlier. I didn't have medical management though so it might take a little longer xx

Thank you for your reply suzi, the line is slowly getting lighter it will be a week on Sunday so I'll keep trying till then :-). Sorry for you loss as well, life can be really cruel sometimes x

Im so sorry for your loss nene, It took mine from July 6th till October 5th to get a neg hpt, that was due to mistakes the hospital made though x

I ve just had a miscarriage I was nearly 8 weeks was told if I did nt have negative in a weeks time I have to go back to go back to the hospital x

Negative test 4 weeks after. Ovulated at 5 weeks after and period by 7 weeks after. I also used misoprostol. And I agree it sucks seeing that positive test when for once you are waiting for a negative.

Thank you all for your comments and answers much appreciated but sad that so many of us go through this. Today I have finally got a bfn, 8 days after the miscarriage, now I'm just waiting for af or ovulation, I hope they both come as fast as the bfn!

It took me 10 days, Also LH test can be a little faulty especially the cycle following a MC, I did BBT the cycle after and found I didn't ovulate, I ovulated the cycle after and got pregnant but unfortunately lost that one also, it has been 8 months since my D&C at 10 weeks and im still waiting, I have been trying for over 2 yrs :(
The reason the LH strips can get a little funny is because our hormones are all over the place, not saying they wont work for you but just be a little careful, and if you had a D&C waiting a cycle or two is prob best so your lining can build after it all being scrapped away, that is why I lost my second because my endometrium hadn't built up enough, I would hate for you to have the same thing... But no-one could have stopped my trying after my first loss I just wanted to be preg again ASAP, you will find a lot of stories of girls who lose there next baby (mostly chemicals) closely following a D&C
