So confused

Hi ladies, 11 days past ovulation i got my period (or so i thought) its usually very painful with alot of cramping and blood, this time there was a very small amount of blood and more very dark brown discharge and now its stopped. i did a pregnancy test (its been 19 days since i last had sex) and a very faint line came up on the cross part, i will post a pic but you can barley see it on the camera. Has anyone else ever experienced this. My cervix never dropped still very high and soft. I am just so confused as my period is barley what it usually is like. thanks ladies in advance x
