Positive pregnancy test but only 8 DPO?

Hi ladies,

I had AF from June 2-7th and did the BD on June 10, 12 and 16 (twice). I was convinced I Oed on the 15th or 16th since I've been tracking and it has been pretty reliable. I was 8 DPO yesterday so I decided to take a cheap-o dollar store HPT for fun and it was a faint positive. I thought I was seeing things so I went and bought a more expensive test and it says PREGNANT 1-2 weeks. I'm worried this is a bad sign. The dates just don't add up to me and I need to know if anyone else has had a similar experience. Thanks ladies.

Sounds like this is a good sign to me. Maybe you ovulated a little earlier than you thought this cycle?
I would get off to the doc and have bloods and make sure. Good luck and baby dust to you!

Sounds to me like you are pregnant consult your doc, but you sound like you have a bun in your oven!!! Good Luck!!!!

It definitely sounds positive! Having you been using OPKs? Sounds like you might just be out on your calcs. Hope the doctor can confirm this as your BFP! Keep us up to date on your result :-)

I took an ovulation test on the 11th and 12th day of my cycle. They were both negative.

8DPO could definitely give you a faint positive IF you implanted 6 days after ovulation, which is TOTALLY possible, I would say a positive pregnancy test is pretty conclusive that you are indeed pregnant! good luck and congrats!
