I know people say it all the time but you are not out until af shows.... With DD, I got my bfp at 10-11 dpo, but I saw someone posting that they got their bfp way after their period was due.... It depends on when the egg implants, how fast the HCG is raising and the sensitivity of the test.

Based on all the tests recorded on this website, they say that on average, the first positive is on 12 dpo.

I've never tested before 14dpo - but have always had clear results one way or the other at that point.

I got mine at 16 DPO. BFN through 12 DPO.

i got my BFP 8 dpo but very very faint. im now 12 dpo and tested again with much darker more decipherable lines! also bbs tender and had lots of pinching stabbing like pains in ovary region 3-8 dpo intermittently.
Just keep in mind that everyone is different and it all depends if and when implantation occurs as hcg levels dont start rising until then and then it doubles the levels every 2 days.....
and its never over until af shows..
I tested with all different types of tests with fmu and some tests it didnt even register when the others did!
i found the best tests have been pee in a cup First Response hpts..

I tested negative until 5 weeks after af was due! Think that's like 49dpo or something ridiculous like that! Makes me 9 weeks pregnant according to my midwife so that was a bit of a shock! Lol! As the other ladies have said, you're not out til af shows! Good luck

I got my first positive test with DD a day after AF was due. I think it was CD 34. so prob about 2 weeks after ovulating... but i didnt test before that. (the only month i didnt obsessively test!) good luck!

It can be different each pregnancy. With my first i didn't find out until right before AF was due. and i was testing every day. Not a hint of a line until day before AF was due. With my Youngest, it was about 3 days before AF was due. This time i have NOT A CLUE because i had a CP last month.
