I was wondering using blood on a pee stick

I was wondering what is the reasoning behind using drops of blood mixed with pee on a pee stick? I have seen a few ladies do it lately so I was just wondering why? I don't mean to offend anyone I was just curious? Thanks and baby dust to all!

The hcg will build up in your bloodstream before it reaches your urine, so you are more likely to get a pos earlier with blood. However the pee sticks aren't designed for blood so your more likely to get a false pos

I've done it myself, as I am a vet nurse and have access to everything I need to do it.. And it was a waste.. Just wait the extra day or two for a pee test :)
