Question

How much can your LP change while weaning from breastfeeding?

Hi gals, just driving myself a little crazy and wanted some other opinions, my daughter is 15 months and has now cut back to only breastfeeding once to twice per day. I started my cycles again when she was 8 months and thought they were pretty regular only concern was my LP was only 9 days. Well here I am today sitting at 13 dpo my temps still high but getting negative pregnancy tests. Does anyone else have experience with such a dramatic LP change so quickly or do you think I may still have a BFP coming my way?

Gosh, it could go either way. When my period returned (after 10 months), my luteal phase was only 9 days as well. And it turned out that I wasn't even ovulating at first even though AF had returned. It took another couple of months for that. And then my LP snapped into place and my body sorted itself out (I weaned at 14 months, but had been down to just once or twice a day for about a month before that). Although I haven't gotten a sticky pregnancy yet.

So, all that said, I have no idea. :D Hope it's a good sign for you!
